Mando’s runners

On november 9th 2023, one of our group members received the saddest news one can imagine. Their father was diagnosed with metastasised pancreatic cancer. Despite some treatment possibilities for this specific form of cancer there are usually only small benefits achieved with a very little surviving rate.
Unfortunately exactly 3 months after hearing this news this, their father passed away on februari 9, 2024.
As a friend group we decided to collect money and run with students for cancer to support cancer research.
Thanks to cancer research they have already come a long way in terms of treatment possibilities and surviving rate for different forms of cancer. Unfortunately as reality has showed us there is still lots of research necessary/needed. And as a group we see the importance of this and would like to support it.
